About

Megan and Josh are on a two-week vacation in Florida from Atlanta. Coming back from a day trip exploring the antique shops in Arcadia, a cow on the road puts them in a ditch on a rural back road. A miscommunication over cell phones has them stranded. They find their way to a farmhouse and an old woman willing to rescue and take them in until help can arrive. Mrs. Sullivan entertains her guest with the story of how she came to live at Honey Tree Farm. She recounts meeting Jesse, the love of her life, and how a jealous bully tried to destroy their life together. What Megan and Josh discover is that love is precious and can indeed last beyond a lifetime.

Praise for this book

Author, Brenda M. Spalding did a wonderful job creating a mindful pause for everyone that reads this story. When you read The Honey Tree Farm, Mrs. Sullivan’s tender story will embrace your heart and make you wish you could walk up the steps of her front porch, sit a while in the comfort of her company and enjoy the simple beauty of the orange grove and her gentle kindness that welcome you to The Honey Tree Farm. Perhaps you’ll discover, as did Josh and Maggie, that the most treasured antique one can find is a memoir of a true-love, that will bloom forever in those hearts that are willing to listen.

This is a wonderful love story...so full of heart. The connection between the woman telling the story and her beloved husband is extraordinary. It's one of those stories you'll read and never ever forget. It's the kind of love we all dream of experiencing. Such a terrific read.

Sweet family story with appealing personalities, and healthy moral codes. The villain is well developed and provides a background for the heroism of the central characters. Without revealing the conclusion, you will wish to visit the charm of Honey Tree Farm.
