Sorry I'm a bit late with this or a bit early which ever. The hurricane here at my house was rather a none event. Our lights flickered and we lost the TV for ten minutes. The only damage was a few shingles and screens from the pool cage. I do feel for all those that lost everything to storm water damage or were hit hard by the hurricane. At one point the news said that there were about one million people without power. 

There is a tale that the Calusa Indians used to come to the Sarasota/Bradenton area when a storm was coming because it was believed to be a safe place. My house has suffered little damage in the 24 years we have lived here. Watch the next storm with get me.

In the mean time I hope everyone can recover from any damage safely. 

Oh, there was a picture of an alligator swimming in downtown Tampa. No body of water is safe in Florida. If the Alligators don't get you the snakes might.
